Last day Ostuni Italy!

We were inside a church that was Catholic. We rented a nice place with a cozy balcony and a nice bedroom and small kitchen in the center of Ostuni. After spending a few days in Ostuni we were also going to try being together in Brindisi. Brindisi is the city a little further south of Ostuni and also where the airport was.

Some fun info about Ostuni. Historically, all houses have been painted white to reflect sunlight and provide light, but also to keep them cool. During the plague in the 17th century, it was noticed that the whitewash on the houses acted as a disinfectant against the disease. Today, the city continues to be painted white to preserve tradition and tourism.
