Introduction to living abroad!

Now I start my blog in English too. I’ve been blogging in Swedish for a while. Since I usually use English with people I meet in the countries and cities. Therefore I will also be blog in English.

It started in the year 2023. I lived in a city between Gothenburg and Stockholm in Sweden with 120,000 inhabitants. Perfect place for that time, in many years. I worked with many different things. This was as personal assistant with clients who had disabilities. Besides I also have lectures in the field of mental health. This was based on my book in mental health. That book I wrote in 2013 in Swedish. Ultimately I completed and translated the book 2023 to english and is available on Amazon here.

Furthermore I also lectured about my dysfunctional childhood. Me is very creative and love to paint and write. Even if I had many friends it was something when the covid restrictions were lifted that still wasn’t right. I felt I should and wanted to do something more.

Then it went abroad!

I gave up my apartment and moved to Lisbon, Portugal, in December 2023. In November 2024 I came to Greece. First I move to Rhodes and then Crete. I still live in Crete since September 2025. I finally have started my own business in medial guidance and coaching when I have live abroad. This I started with summer 2025. Also I work for a company called Teleperformance right now. I have met people, friends, get a cat Lucy from Crete and experienced many new things abroad and love it.

Life is exciting and fun therefore I not going to move back to Sweden in many years or ever. I will live in Crete for the rest of the year. Also I will probably move to southern Italy where my love lives in future. I meet him for the first time in April this year. But this after I had contact with him for about a year on the phone.

Moreover in any case, for the curious, you are welcome to follow along on my journey of discoveries and thoughts about life in southern Europe. Also my boyfriend was born in El Salvador, so Central America is for sure something I going to visit and end up in. But for now following along and enjoy my life as I am in Crete right now. 🙂
